  • Bring or take medications per your normal routine. “Note” If you are bringing a sleep aid, please DO NOT take them until instructed to do so by your sleep tech AFTER arriving at facility.
  • Bring appropriate comfortable clothing for you to sleep in (i.e. pajamas, shorts and t-shirt).
  • For your comfort you may bring your own pillow.
  • If you plan on taking a shower upon leaving the sleep clinic in the morning, please inform your technician so that you can be placed in a sleep room to accommodate a shower. (Shampoo/Body soap, towels, and washcloths are provided. You are welcome to bring your own preferred toiletries).
  • You may be accompanied to your sleep study by no more than two persons. Your accompanying party must leave when your study begins. Spouses are not allowed to stay the night with the patient.

  • Lights out no later than 11:00 p.m.
  • Service animals are not allowed, as EVANS is a hospital environment.
