Ultrasound

About

Ultrasound (also called sonography) is a non-invasive procedure that uses sound waves to view and produce images of internal organs, tissue and blood flow inside the body. The images are created when sound waves are transmitted to the area of interest and the returning echoes are recorded. Our Ultrasound Department has a team of highly skilled and experienced sonographers. We utilize state of the art ultrasound equipment and techniques to provide the best diagnostic images for interpretation.

If you are scheduled for an Obstetric ultrasound you may have one adult observer and if time permits children may be allowed in the room at the conclusion of the appointment.
